You can use it the traditional way, just as you always have, or let it engage automatically, eliminating the need to operate it manually and making your ride much more comfortable and smooth.
Shifting with the E-Clutch is smooth and seamless, with no sudden deceleration or momentary loss of power, making it ideal for riders who use their motorcycle in the city or on winding roads much more efficiently. In addition, the system weighs only 2 kg, so it doesn’t affect the bike’s agility or performance.
Motorcycles available with the E-Clutch system
Currently, the CB650R and CBR650R are the first models to feature this system; however, Honda already plans to bring this innovation to more models in the near future, such as the CMX1100 Rebel.
