It should be remembered that DCT is an automatic gearbox with electro-hydraulic activation of the clutch and gear selector that allows the driver to make gear changes in Manual mode using trigger-type switches on the left handlebar, or in Automatic mode according to the gear change programming based on constantly monitored parameters, including vehicle speed, engine rpm, and throttle opening angle. In either case, there is no need for a clutch lever or a gear lever. <\/p>\n\n
During a gear change, when one clutch disengages, the other clutch simultaneously engages the selected gear to ensure a precise, ultra-fast change, without jerkiness and without loss of traction to the rear wheel.<\/p>\n\n
In addition to the advantages it brings for sports driving, DCT also allows the driver to concentrate more on driving, on their path, on braking points, on curves, and on acceleration.<\/p>\n\n
Other advantages include reduced driver fatigue, less stress in urban driving, impossibility of stalling the engine, and a great reduction in rocking during gear changes.<\/p>\n\n
